Not that great of an affiliate program. ReferBack does not offer a CPA option for signing up new players and their reporting options are pretty weak. They do offer 25% rake commissions, which is not bad, but they make it difficult to move up and earn 30% or more. Referback is the exclusive marketer for Belle Rock Gaming, which is the Gaming Club, Lucky Nugget, and River Belle Poker Rooms, so if you want to advertise these poker rooms, you will have to partner with ReferBack. I have always been paid accurately, although somewhat slowly.

ReferBack Affiliate Review

Gaming Club Poker, Lucky Nugget Poker, and River Belle Poker are all part of the same Prima Poker network, and these poker rooms have their affiliate programs running through .

Introduction (from the ReferBack website)

Promote our Poker Rooms and
Earn up to 35% commission!

When it comes to the Live Poker Rooms, ReferBack.com is thrilled to tell you that you're about to earn more!

How do you start earning commission?

Start earning commission when you bring in new, Active Poker Players. You'll earn from 25% - 35% commission on the lifetime of their play. And, the more motivated and dedicated you are at acquiring Big Poker Players, the Bigger your Checks will be!

At ReferBack.com we are committed to your returns. This is why we offer one of the highest commission tiers of 35% and we also have the lowest tiering requirements . So, when you promote our poker rooms you can earn Big Bucks Faster!

How does the Poker Commission Structure Work?

At ReferBack.com your Poker commission and Casino commission are calculated separately. Your Poker commission will be calculated as illustrated below and then added to your Casino commission.

Payments to Affiliates will be made within ten (10) working days of the end of the month based on the following payment plan.

Commission Level Net Rake Levels No. New of Active Poker
Players* per month
25% $0 - $5,000 Less than or equal to 10
30% $5,001 - $20,000 11 to 15
35% $20,001 + 16 to 30

Please Note: You must meet both the rake requirement and the new Active Poker Player requirements before advancing to the next level. In other words, if you contribute $5,550 in Net Rake to the Poker Room, but only acquire 8 players, then your commission will be set to 25%.

* An Active Poker Account is a unique purchasing account or a unique Poker player who has raked their first hand.

Reports & Statistics

offers several different reports, but the reports are more geared for their casino affiliates than their Gaming Club Poker, Lucky Nugget Poker, and River Belle Poker affiliates. Of the several different reports offered, there is only one that I check, the "Poker Stats Summary Report". This report provides the very basic information of number of visits, play accounts, real money accounts, gross revenues, and commission amounts. Unfortunately, you cannot see the player names you've referred and their contribution to gross revenues. A different report shows you sub-affiliate information, but no dollars for some odd reason. The reporting in general is pretty confusing, so I just stick with the limited information in the Poker Stats report. Below are screens shots from the main reporting screen, and the specific Poker Stats Summary Report:

ReferBack does not allow you to have multiple websites, you only have the option to use your one and only tracker. So, if you plan on running multiple websites, and would like to keep your different sources of income separate, you will need to open a second affiliate account (which they will allow but may discourage). You can, however, view your Gaming Club, Lucky Nugget, and River Belle Poker revenues separately.

Reliability & Timeliness

has always made accurate payments within a reasonable timeframe. However, they are a bit slower than some of the other affiliate programs. I received my December payout on January, 16. PartyPoker, for example, pays you out within the first week of the following month.

Customer & Technical Support

Support is not as strong as some of the other affiliate programs, where you actually have an account rep assigned to you and that you get to know. And, unfortunately, there isn't much you can do yourself on the ReferBack affiliate webpage. You can't make any changes to your affiliate account information yourself. All requests must be emailed in. This is, of course, a bit frustrating and may add some delays. Want to change your mailing address? You can't, send in an email. It took me a while to change my payment method from check to Neteller. I think, overall, customer support is pretty weak. One thing the site tries to offer is a Resource Center, where they provide information on building a website, tools, and even clipart that you can use. The information offered is not very comprehensive, just appears to be a weak stab at adding some value to customers.

Compensation

Unfortunately, ReferBack does not offer a CPA program. You are only allowed one tracker from ReferBack, so you can't get fancy with different marketing ideas.

The commission amount starts at 25% of gross revenues. To have this upped to 30% requires collection rakes of over $5,000 AND signing up more than 10 players in a given month. You may hit one of the milestones, but to hit both in the same month is not going to be easy. Overall, compensation is pretty weak, I would prefer having a CPA option with ReferBack.
