Not a lot of bells and whistles. Very little with reporting, statistics, and does not support different brands or websites. Does not offer a CPA plan. However, PokerRoom offers a 30% commission on its rake plan. This can equate to huge dollars. I do not interact with the PokerRoom affiliate team and feel like I receive less support and help than from many of the other affiliates. But PokerRoom has the quickest payout to its affiliates; they make their payout twice a month, automatically.

PokerRoom Affiliate Review

The PokerRoom Affiliate program is run by itself. doesn't use a 3rd party marketing company. While this is good, because it takes out any additional layers of complexity, PokerRoom does not offer much to its affiliates with regards to tools and support.

Introduction (from the PokerRoom website)

Get paid for advertising for PokerRoom.com!

• Place one of our banners on your site and we will reward you for all depositing players you generate. For each player that signs up and deposits at PokerRoom.com, you will get 30% of the players total poker rake at the real money tables minus transaction expenses (fees when the player deposits or withdraws money).

• Payments will be made on the first and sixteenth of every month. Minimum pay-out is $50 USD. If the amount is less than $50 USD, the money will be saved at your account until it reaches $50 USD or more.

• In addition, you will also get rewarded for all new affiliates you attract to the site. You will become parent of those affiliates, and you will get 10% of the money they make.

Reports & Statistics

PokerRoom offers only the most basic of reporting information to its affiliates. There is only one screen to view, and it looks like this (example data):

provides the basic information necessary to check on your website's performance. But you cannot view traffic by banner type, player names and contributed rake amounts, or even by website. If you have multiple websites, you'll need to set up multiple affiliate accounts to separate the data.

Reliability & Timeliness

is probably the best with regards to timely cashouts. Unlike most (or all!) of the poker room affiliates, PokerRoom pays out twice a month! They will deposit into your Neteller account at the beginning of the month and again after the middle of the month.

On the first day of the month, I receive an email similar to this (sample data):

Within a couple of days, the funds will be sitting in my Neteller account. This all happens automatically and seamlessly.

Customer & Technical Support

Support is not as strong as some of the other affiliate programs, where you actually have an account rep assigned to you and that you get to know. And, unfortunately, there isn't much you can do yourself on the PokerRoom affiliate webpage. You can't make any changes to your affiliate account information yourself. All requests must be emailed in. This is, of course, a bit frustrating and may add some delays. I wanted to change my payment method from check to Neteller in this instance. I don't have a personal account rep from PokerRoom, but I still received timely responses and support from their customer service. My request for the payment method change was resolved in 48 hours.

Compensation

Unfortunately, PokerRoom does not offer a CPA program. You are only allowed one tracker from PokerRoom, so you can't get fancy with different marketing ideas.

However, they do offer a nice 30% commission from your players' revenues. This is a very good rake program, and if your players are serious, 30% can be a lot of money. The 30% commission alone is reason to highlight PokerRoom as a fantastic affiliate program. You join here!
