Affiliate program details:
There is NO fee or upfront investment needed to participate in the Affiliate program. All you need to do is sign up, get your tracker, select a payment plan (more information below), and start sending poker players to PartyPoker.com through your trackers.
Select from one of two payment plans: Get paid $65 - $75 per sign up guaranteed or earn 20-25% of the gross revenue generated during the lifetime of your player's Account. Not sure if your players will be big players? Choose the per sign up plan. Confident your players will be high rollers? Choose the revenue plan…the bigger your players, the bigger your checks! Our tracking system is state of the art and we provide you two types of trackers: sign up bonus codes (for offline promotions such as fliers and cards) and tracking URLs (for online promotions). When a poker player opens an Account using a sign up bonus code or a tracking URL assigned to you, we know the player was referred by you and we permanently mark his/her Account in our database. Track all your statistics real time!
Use our banners, text links, CDs and fliers to maximize your promotions. We have lots of promotional materials that you may freely use in your promotions. In addition, we can custom develop, at cost, any special requests that you may have for custom CDs, t-shirts, keychains, etc. with your unique trackers embedded in them.
Reports & Statistics
presents the basics for reporting. After you login into your affiliate account, you can view the Quick Stats page which provides a quick snapshot of your business. You'll be able to easily see the number of real money player sign-ups and total player sign-ups for the prior day, week, and month to date. This Quick Stats page will also show you your Gross Revenus (rakes) accumulated, and your current payout amount for the month. This Quick Stats pages will also provide you the above information for any sub-affiliates you've been able to register.
This is a very nice overview of your website performance. However, there is some information lacking in the detailed reports. From the Quick Stats page, you can view detailed activity by Trackers or by Day, and enter in a date range. The detailed view will show you the number of total players, real money players, gross revenues generated by tracker or day. However, you cannot see the individual player names or what each player contributed. This would be nice information to have, so you could provide extra incentives to your top players.
Reliability & Timeliness
The PartyPoker/iGlobalMedia affiliate program works like clockwork. Usually, around the 4th to the 6th of the following month, your affiliate revenues will be deposited into your IGM-Pay cashier's account. To withdraw the funds, you must login into IGM-Pay (iGlobalMedia's cashier) and request the withdrawal. This is the same process as if you were a PartyPoker player requesting a withdrawal from your poker account. Party Poker does put your funds into your cashier's account quickly, but there is an extra step of having to withdraw the funds manually. However, the quick turn-around of having your funds ready is well worth the extra step.
Customer & Technical Support
The Party Poker's affiliate support is solid. I have my own account rep, not a generic customer service phone number or email, and he works with me on ideas and promotions. It's been a very good working relationship, and my account rep has gone some extra steps to make me happy as an affiliate.
Compensation
Party Poker's initial compensation plan is on the weak side. $65/player is not that great, but it's relatively easy to get that up to $75 by referring 10 or more players per month. At $75/player, PartyPoker is at about the average CPA amount given by the poker affiliate industry. The 20% commission option is also pretty weak. And reaching gross revenues over $10,000 to command the 25% commission rate is not an easy task. However, one of the nice aspects of PartyPoker's affiliate program is that you can create new trackers and pick which plan that tracker will be on - either the CPA plan or the rake plan. This means you can mix and match at the same time to find the right plan for you. Perhaps, one page is better geared for the rake plan and another page is better for the CPA plan.
